Further to SPL’s compliance to Laundry Practice AS4146, in April 2014 SPL became the first privately owned laundry in Australia to receive tri-certification. We implemented an Integrated Management System and obtained tri-certification for ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System & ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System which has enhanced the overall quality we provide to our customers and a delivery of service that further protects our environment and our people.
Stand for Safety
SPL continues to focus on our commitment to safety and the wellbeing of our people.
In March 2023, SPL took a significant stand on safety excellence with our first ‘Stand for Safety’ event across Australia. For the first time in SPL history, the entire business came to a stand still to talk about one of the most important aspects of the business – the health and safety of our people.
Creating and maintaining a world class safety culture where we make the right choice every time requires commitment, focus and the motivation to do the right thing for the right reasons. This initiative, along with others form the basis for our safety culture now and into the future.
